Join us in supporting our fund contributing to the treatment of addiction. The UK charity, Action on Addiction, takes action to disarm addiction through treatment, research, family support, education and training.

Addiction is a treatable condition. Action on Addiction provides abstinence-based 12-Step residential treatment and structured day treatment. The treatment practice is research based and offers substance misusers the possible chance of sustained recovery. They are pioneering models of treatment that have their roots in the American philosophy of treating addiction.

Research into addiction is important to measure the effectiveness of new and existing treatment and prevention techniques in order to reduce addiction problems in our society.

Action on Addiction provides independent and objective evidence to guide policy makers and treatment commissioners to develop addiction policy and treatment. This is important to help reduce the stigma surrounding the causes and treatment of addiction.
